Marcos is great. We had worked with several agents in the past that had negatively skewed our perception of realtors, but Marcos is a hardworking and knowledgable guy. Before even asking him to represent us, we spent months occasionally meeting and talking to make sure he was the realtor for us. In the end, he sold our house quick and for over asking price with some of the best terms you could ask for (no inspections!). He was helpful and supportive along the way - providing us with contacts to help get the house ready (e.g. cleaning, concrete, roofing, tile work, pests, etc.). He understood the market in our neighborhood and knew how prep the house for immediate sale. Honestly, he made the sale of our house and purchase of our new amazing home a surprisingly easy and near stress free process. Even in moments that were a bit stressful, he provided us with calming assurance backed by knowledge and understanding of the market (e.g. after a buyer backed out, he had about seven new offers on the table within 48hrs -- all or most of them over asking with better terms). In the end, he got us into a house that we love. The sellers and their agent were pretty intense, but Marcos kept it very calm and smooth the whole way. He landed us a house that many folks wanted for the right price. He guided us well in this process to the point that the sellers really desired us to live in their house. Again, another smooth and easy process -- thanks Marcos! And beyond his knowledge and professionalism, he's just a nice and funny guy.

Marcos is great! I was connected to him through a friend, and I could tell right away this guy knows what he's doing. Marcos first directed me to his preferred lender. Once I received pre-approval (at a freaking phenomenal rate), Marcos took his time to understand what I was looking for. Once we identified key features I was looking for, Marcos started pipelining solid options my way. After about 2 months of looking, we were able to get our offer accepted and I closed last week. Keep in mind, this was in the middle of probably the most competitive housing market in Sacramento in a long time, as home inventory was extremely limited.
PROS
-What I appreciated the most about Marcos is his patience. I never felt once like I was being pressured to buy, and he was much more willing to walk away from a bad option to find something better.
-The guy is very well connected. He grew up in this area, and there were multiple instances where his connections and area knowledge were invaluable to the process. He has insight I'm certain most of the other realtors will not have, given his contacts and relationships in the Sacramento area.
-When looking at houses, Marcos provides a very practical perspective. While I focused on the asthetics and floor plan, Marcos had a great eye for issues in the foundation, roof and the other important bare bones aspects of the house.
-The guy works hard, and makes himself as available as possible. It's clear though that has a strong client base, and I think a big part of that is this guy knows what he's doing and seek him out for it.
CONS
-No cons from me. He may not immediately respond to calls/texts especially on the weekend, but he will get back to you fairly quickly. Not really a con to me since it's clear he's in demand given his knowledge and experience.
If you want a baby sitter that responds to your text within seconds, tells you want you want to hear and pressures you to make a bad buy/sale, Marcos is not your guy.
If you want a pro who will invest the time and effort to provide great insight and get you the best home or the best offer, Marcos is your guy.
I'm extremely pleased with my home purchase, and I'm grateful I had the team and Marcos to take me through it.
10/10 would highly recommend!

As a Sacramento native, Marcos knows the city well, which was a huge asset for me, as I had only basic information about the area. I spent plenty of time on Zillow etc. but I found that seeing homes outside of the context of their neighborhoods, was not the best way to find a home that really matched my needs. Marcos was a great realtor to work with. I had met with a few other realtors before we met with Marcos and just got a good vibe from him. From our first meeting he pointed out all the big items we should be looking at in any home we are looking to buy, being first time home buyers, this was extremely helpful. He showed us a lot of different neighborhoods and always gave a good personal opinion when we would come to a neighborhood we weren't familiar with.
We were relocating from the Bay Area and Marcos did a lot of early mornings and Sundays with us for almost a year. He helped when we got discouraged too, and always kept an eye out for homes that would work for us, and we aren't the easiest people to please.
Marcos also introduced us to our Mortgage team, which made the process easy and were always willing to walk us through everything.
Overall he is a great guy and introduced us to an awesome team during the home buying process as well as our new remodeling.

Let me preface this by saying that my husband and I actually didn't choose Marcos as our realtor. We were lucky enough that he was selling the rental we were living in and the owners agreed to work with us on it and Marcos became a dual agent. He made us feel confident that we were choosing the right path, and that he would do a great, unbiased job of representing both parties.
The love that Marcos has for Tahoe Park, where we were living/planning on buying, is evident. When I first met him I told him about how much I love living in Tahoe Park, which is why we wanted to buy the house (totally had NOTHING to do with the fact that we wouldn't have to move if we bought it...), fix it up right, and make it a place that our neighbors would be proud to live next to.
Through the process, Marcos was up front, engaged, and readily available, no matter the time of day (or night, reasonably). He was always willing to stop by or let us bounce ideas off of him. The whole process went so smoothly and we couldn't have asked for a better realtor. If and when we sell/buy again in the future, we'll be calling Marcos.

The best in town, this guy knows his stuff and is detail oriented. This was my first time buying a home and wow did I need someone on my side like Marco. He helped me navigate my way through the process without ever feeling pressured. He and I continuously checked in, and he made sure that I was getting what I wanted.
Marco also made sure that I did not bite off more then I could chew when purchasing my home. I was looking for an older home. He made sure that we were both on the same page and he kept my best interest in mind.

The wife and I were looking for houses online. I had clicked that I was interested in a home and marcos called me literally within 5 minutes. He was professional, personable and asked for my preferences in a home. We met at the house we saw online and it was pretty run down. What was awesome about Marcos is that he is very attentive to "the bones" of a house. He was always knocking on walls looking for dry rot or pointing out potential issues. I have worked with nightmare realtors who don't communicate well, or dont respond to texts/calls. Marcos is the best realtor I have worked with and he is very responsive. He is genuinely concerned with finding you a home that meets your needs not just selling you anything available. We felt very comfortable and confident with his knowledge, his skill, and his opinion.
